Indian Music

 Indian music is a diverse and rich musical tradition that includes different genres and forms. It has a long history spanning several millennia and  geo-location. Indian music is closely associated with religion and mythology  and is based on the concept of cosmic sound and energy. Indian music can be divided into two main branches: Carnatic music in the older and more Hindu-oriented south, and Hindustani music in the north influenced by Afghan and Mughal cultures.
